Growing up in a small town, it was easy to overlook the beauty that surrounded me. Certainly, middle of no-where Ohio doesn't have mountains or streaming waterfalls around every corner. But being able to see for miles, and wide open skyscapes are beautiful in their own way.
Recently my little sister Laura and I hopped on our bikes and headed out of our backyard to the country roads that surround us. An hour or so on the road we were thankful for a warm winter day, giving us hope that spring is around the corner. Check out the beauty we were able to find.
It was a good reminder to appreciate your own back yard. Cornfield and all. *Stay tuned for more Small Town Adventures all across the USA!
